We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Supervisor to join the Brucejack Gold Mine in Northwestern, British Columbia.
Located approximately 65 kilometers from Stewart, you will report to the Maintenance Manager or designate, and work a rotating schedule encompassing 13 days on, 13 days off, plus 2 days of travel (15-13).
The Mobile Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient maintenance of all on-site mobile equipment including: heavy equipment, transport trucks, light equipment and light vehicles.
Key duties and responsibilities also include, but are not limited to the following:
Above all, you will provide visible leadership and adherence to all Pretivm safety & environmental standards, and also incorporate site safety and environmental standards into each individual job plan to mitigate risk & hazards in the workplace.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 7 years or more of progressively related experience in the maintenance of diesel and gasoline mobile and stationary equipment preferrably in the mining industry combined with three (3) to five (5) years in a supervisory role. A Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Trade Qualification and valid drivers' licence is required for this role.
Training and experience in snow cat maintenance is considered a definite asset. Previous maintenance experience with underground mobile equipment is also desirable. Proficient computer skills will be required to be successful in this role.
